A week ago this past Tuesday, I was making dinner and the girls were in the basement dancing and playing, when all of the sudden, I heard a bunch of screaming. Grace was screaming, "We need help", and Olivia was screaming, "I need a cast." When I looked down the basement stairs, all I could see was Olivia's hand hanging there. She had been hanging on Dan's pull up bar and had fallen off. We quickly got her to urgent care, where they shot her up with some good drugs and sent us downtown to the main Children's Hospital, where she had both bones in her left arm reduced. It was a very long night in the ER (we got home at 3 a.m.), but she was a real trooper, and the best part was, she was a star, because she had been dancing in one of her favorite dance costumes (it's bright orange, pink, and yellow), and she couldn't change before we left for the hospital. She is in a cast for the next 6-8 weeks, followed by a brace for about 4 weeks. It was knarley (as the ortho doctor put it)! At least for the past week it has been cool here in Cincinnati, so we haven't been able to swim!

How are you doing Olivia? You sure picked a bright color for your cast. I love it! What color is next? It sounds like you were so brave. PaPa and I love you and your sisters, mommy and daddy, too!
Olivia, we are so glad that you are doing okay! You sure worried us! I agree with Grammy, I love the color of your cast! Take care of yourself! Love you!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the orange cast...that is "so Olivia!" Glad to hear that she is on the mend and handling the cast okay. We love you!
