Simmons Reunion

We had the first Simmons Family Reunion this summer up in Michigan at my parents. It was great to spend time with all of my family-everyone was there but one of my cousins! It was a nice relaxing weekend, with lots of great food, swimming, a bonfire, and good conversation.

Can you tell these two are sisters? That's was was so cool about the reunion-just to sit back and see the similarities in all of us.

Uncle Bob and Alex graced us with their musical talents around the campfire. I love how Grace is really listening to them.

Emma's 5th Birthday Party (Friend Party)

When asked what Emma wanted to do for her 5th birthday, she told me for months, "I want to go to Chuckie Cheese (yuck!). I was just about to do it, I mean, come on, she is only 5 once, but then I mentioned that it would be difficult to have a pinata at Chuckie Cheese, and then she said, "I'll just have my friends to the house and have a Tinker Bell party and have a pinata." (Yes!) We had fun playing in the backyard with the pinata, having relay races, and playing "pin the donkey on the tail".

I don't know who was having more fun here, Dan or the kids!
