This is what I found when I pulled in the driveway last night. WE ARE SO PROUD!! The Forest Hills 5K for the school district is this Saturday and all the schools' mascots are having a race. Even though the girls are the Summit "Bees", I know a part of them will be secretly cheering for their daddy-the Sherwood Archer.
Emma and I went up to Michigan over the weekend for Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Drew's baby shower. We had a great time at the shower, Emma got to spend some one on one time with Grammy and Papa, and we spent a great afternoon with aunts, uncles, and cousins on Sunday on Drew and Steph's beautiful new deck. Dan, Grace and Olivia stayed behind in Cincinnati because of soccer games, softball games, piano recitals, and Grace was on her way home from a class trip. They had fun spending some quality time together and I even came home to a clean house and all the laundry done!
Audrey was into the Bingo game.
Emma loved playing catch with a dog that could actually run.
Uncle Drew is going to be such a great dad!!!
Emma actually got to "mother" instead of being "mothered".
Grace left with her class today from Summit and the 5th grade from another school in the district for a class trip today. The are spending the next 3 days at Camp Kern exploring pond life, cooperative games, hiking to Fort Ancient, and learning about some history. She excited because she signed up to do "pioneer cooking" today. It was pouring rain when I dropped her off at 7:45, but she didn't seem to mind. I don't think she could see through her excitement!
Just call us "Downtown Hamiltons". Our basketball hoop installation was completed today. Olivia was so excited, she could barely contain herself! She shot before dinner, after dinner, and would have shot after her softball game if we would have let her, but it was bedtime. When I picked her up after school, she greeted me with, "Is it here?" She didn't want to stop anywhere-just get right home. I have to admit, I'm pretty pumped, too! It was so much fun playing hoops with my girls tonight. I can see a lot of games in our future.
O.K., I'm a little late with this post, but better late than never! A few weeks ago we had the privilege of spending the weekend with Mark, Ashlie, Audrey, and Lilly, and celebrating their 2nd birthday with them. We went to the zoo on Friday (in the pouring rain), got up close and personal with the butterflies at the Butterfly show on Saturday, and had a birthday party Saturday night. It was such a fun weekend, and we can't wait until they come and visit us again!!!
Hanging out watching Elmo-notice Olivia front and center!!!
All the cousins. Audrey just couldn't put down her shake!
Our family began June 21, 1997. We have 3 beautiful daughters-Grace (12), Olivia (9), and Emma (6). This blog will hopefully keep our family and friends up to date with the "Hamilton Happenings"!
