Easter in Cincinnati

We had a great Easter here in Cincinnati, even though we spent it just the 5 of us. We got up early for an Easter egg hunt and then headed off to church for breakfast, another egg hunt, Sunday School, and church. We came home and had everyone's favorites for dinner-ham, cheesey potatoes, corn pudding, and jell0-pretzel salad. Oh, I can't forget the deviled eggs! I think Grace ate the whole platter all by herself!!!! We took a family bike ride in the evening to round out a great day!!!

"I think this one will do."

From her face, you would think she had found a golden egg.

Olivia counting money from the eggs from Grammy and Papa (thank you). Your eggs were a real hit, plus we had a little math lesson that morning, too!!! That's Papa, though, always working in math somehow!!!

Springtime Fun

Today we colored Easter eggs, played outside on the tree swing (I'll get some pictures to post), covered the driveway in sidewalk chalk, and Olivia and Emma made a fort out of the box our new lawnmower came in. It was an exciting, exhausting day, but everyone had a blast!

Kentucky Horse Park

We took a day trip to the Kentucky Horse Park on Wednesday. The weather was absolutely beautiful! The girls rode horses, we had a picnic, and we learned about how the horse has contributed to world and American history. Olivia was in her glory (as you can see from some of these pictures!)

I have a picture of all three girls in the same chair, but I love how Emma is peeking from the other chair in this picture--always smiling and always getting in a picture!
